Bringing Chicago Home Trek Friday, February 9th | 9:30 AM - 3:30 PM The IOP hosts Chicago Treks in partnership with the Center for Effective Government. Each trek offers 20 students the chance to dive into a political issue area through meeting with a broad range of public service practitioners and site visits to relevant organizations. Speakers for this Trek include: Professor Christopher Berry, Director of the Mansueto Institute at the University of Chicago, Daniel Cruz, Chicago Housing Authority Chief of Staff, and Nicholette Cameron, Senior Project Manager at Chicago Neighborhood Initiatives. Additional speakers will be added. RSVP Required. Breakfast, lunch, and transportation provided. This trek is open to students only and off the record. Registration is required.
